Hope Integrated Academy Secondary and Vocational College exists to provide quality education to children who have fallen victim to the AIDS tragedy in our society today, especially those in remote villages of Uganda. Most of these children have lost hope and have no future to count on. At the Academy we strive to restore ‘hope’ to these promising children. ‘Integrated’ because of its dualistic identity—secondary school and vocational training together with a general after school program. An ‘Academy’—for its emphasis on academic excellence and skills development.
