URF is the main sponsor of Hope Academy. URF is a grassroots organization empowering AIDS orphans, underprivileged youths and women in rural community to fight poverty, through educational and sustainable development opportunities.

Richard Kasajja, 17 (March 2010)

Richard is a S.4 student. His mother and father died of AIDS in 2004. Richard lives with his two young brothers and a step-mother. He enjoys playing football. His main concerns is getting school tuition and food.

Thaddeus Kweyamba (March 2010)

Mr. Kweyamba holds a B.S. Degree in Education and serves as the Principle. He teaches English and History. He is the first of five siblings. He began teaching career way back in 2002. He has taught in various schools including Bishop Nakyame Memorial College, St. Barnebas College. "My parents are still residing in Kebete district on the fringes of Uganda and Rwanda. I am happily married with a beautiful 16 months daughter."
